Vintage Park at Ottawa is seeking a compassionate and caring Certified Nurse Assistant/CNA or Certified Medication Aide/CMA to join our team on a part-time basis. As a member of our wellness department, you will provide physical and psychosocial care to our residents, promoting dignity, choice, and individuality.
Key Responsibilities- Provide all necessary care and services to assigned residents, including assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Work collaboratively with peers and other team members to ensure the highest level of care and service.
- Assist with transportation and escort residents as needed.
- Document provision of services on company forms.
- Operate designated medical equipment and assist with various tasks related to dining.
- Participate in and support resident-centered activities and events.
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
- Must maintain certification for a Certified Nurse Aide.
- Satisfactory completion of the company Resident Assistant skills competency checklist.
- Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases; lifting, bending, and pushing medication cart about residence is required.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
- Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor.
- Competitive hourly rate up to $18.50.
- Part-time schedule with some weekends as needed.
