Job Overview

At Gold Wynn Management LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Stationary Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for controlling and maintaining boilers, air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment, turbines, generators, pumps, and compressors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain complex mechanical equipment, including boilers, turbines, and generators.
  • Monitor and regulate equipment performance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, filter replacement, and soot removal.
  • Inspect equipment to identify potential issues and take corrective action.
  • Record data and maintain logs of equipment operation, maintenance, and safety activities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Stationary Engineer, with a willingness to continue education in the HVAC field.
  • HVAC Certification required.
  • 2nd class stationary engineer certification in Buffalo, NY.
  • Strong knowledge of boilers, steam systems, HVAC/R systems, and building automation systems.
  • Ability to calibrate and test thermostats and DDC controls.
  • Basic plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance knowledge.
  • Ability to work at heights and on ladders.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient with computers, phones, and other office equipment.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
