Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Oakland, CA or San Francisco, CA. As a key member of our Rail Systems Team, you will be responsible for providing expertise in electrical engineering to support various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems and infrastructure for rail projects
  • Plan and review the production of engineering drawings and specifications
  • Develop and evaluate plans and criteria for new projects, weighing alternatives and selecting the most cost-effective solution
  • Analyze technical problems and devise new approaches and alternative solutions
  • Coordinate work with project managers and guide junior professionals and technical personnel on design and drafting
  • Ensure quality control and maintain quality standards in all work produced
Requirements:
  • B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, with M.S. or graduate level technical coursework preferred
  • 7 years of experience since B.S. or 6 years since M.S.
  • P.E. license is required
  • Proven technical writing and communication skills
