About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Researcher to join our team at Cox Automotive. As a key member of our UX research team, you will be responsible for conducting user research to inform and execute product strategy and tactics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct formative and evaluative research to provide insights to inform product strategy and tactics
  • Identify the proper research methods based on product phase and timeline
  • Create proposals and research roadmaps/timelines
  • Recruit test participants and manage participant scheduling and external vendor interactions
  • Set up and facilitate testing, including quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques
  • Work cross-functionally with teams to shape and execute plans based on business needs and growth initiatives
  • Uncover actionable insights and evangelize findings at various levels of the organization
  • Lead and facilitate brainstorming sessions, needs analysis, features, and functionality workshops
  • Investigate and evaluate User Experience Research trends in the industry and communicate recommendations to the UX leadership team
Requirements
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience
  • Broad expertise in end-user data collection involving complex web and mobile software applications
  • Strong user experience research foundation and flexible approach
  • Strong reporting skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to be a contributing member of a cross-functional team and inspire team confidence in and respect for the research and design contributions
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with and communicate to stakeholders, designers, product managers, and engineering development team members
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Pendo, Qualtrics, Figma, Axure, Adobe Analytics, Optimizely, and/or other research or prototyping tools
  • Extensive portfolio that includes examples of leading strategic research with significant business outcomes
