About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Manager to join our team at KPFF Consulting Engineers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and leading technical and logistical elements of projects, engaging with clients and design team members, and driving sustainable civil engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Develop and implement project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and design team members to ensure effective design solutions
  • Travel to project sites to observe existing conditions and construction activities
  • Review and support team members with jurisdictional code and manual research to confirm design requirements
  • Perform and/or review calculations to support the design of stormwater conveyance, water quality, flow control, and green stormwater systems
  • Prepare and/or review project specifications, design reports, and feasibility studies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in civil or environmental engineering
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
  • Washington State Professional Engineer (PE) license in civil engineering
  • 5 years of experience working under the supervision of a licensed professional civil engineer
  • Ability and experience to effectively lead and motivate a team to deliver projects
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
