About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investment Associate/Principal to join our team at 2 Sigma. As a key member of our investment team, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and working closely with our portfolio companies to drive growth and success.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in the early-stage startup ecosystem
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments, including financial, market, and competitive analysis
  • Develop and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, and other key stakeholders in the startup ecosystem
  • Work closely with our portfolio companies to provide strategic guidance and support to drive growth and success
  • Collaborate with our investment team to develop and implement investment strategies and policies
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and provide insights and recommendations to the investment team
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, or a related field
  • Proven track record of identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, with a strong understanding of financial, market, and competitive analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, and other key stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
