Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Wargame Operations Manager to join our team at ManTech. As an Assistant Wargame Director, you will play a critical role in synchronizing the various functions of the wargame team and handling all logistics for the Wargame Director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logistics and Operations Management: Coordinate with the wargame team to manage program schedules, plan and lead meetings, develop and deliver program briefs, and prepare feasibility of support requests.
  • Strategic Communications: Serve as the day-to-day interface to the government customer, performing administrative tasks and requirements in support of multiple and simultaneous war-game projects.
  • Wargame Management: Support the government customer by conducting various staff actions, including managing player participation, identifying IT requirements, and planning, preparing, and executing war game conferences/workshops.
  • Team Coordination: Serve as support staff coordinator during the execution of a game/exercise and orchestrate large support staff.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as International Relations, Security Studies, or Strategic Studies.
  • Experience: 5 years of professional work experience with a strong understanding of military affairs and/or foreign policy.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in collaborative team environments, and proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint.
  • Clearance: Current DOD Secret Clearance with the ability to acquire TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Education: Master's degree in a related field.
  • Clearance: TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Wargaming Experience: Understanding of wargaming as a means of decision-making analysis.
