Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at FirstHealth of the Carolinas, Inc. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring accurate transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Cash Handling: Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods, and maintain a clean and organized cash drawer.
  • Inventory Management: Restock shelves, maintain inventory levels, and ensure that the cafeteria is well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leaders and managers to achieve departmental goals, participate in customer service training, and attend departmental meetings.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: One year of experience as a cashier or in a related role.
  • Skills: Proficient with a 10-key calculator, computer literate, organized, and able to work closely with other employees and with minimal supervision.
  • Language: Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Working Conditions: Cafeteria environment, weekend, vacation, and/or rotating shifts.
  • Physical Requirements: Good visual and hearing acuity, standing for long periods of time, and the ability to handle stressful situations.
