Key Responsibilities


The Accounting and Reporting Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and scrutinize financial statements in alignment with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other applicable regulations. Guarantee the precision and thoroughness of financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards, regulations, and laws. Stay informed on changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary updates to accounting policies and procedures.
  • Internal Controls: Develop and sustain effective internal controls to protect company assets and uphold the integrity of financial data. Implement and monitor controls to mitigate financial risks.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor accounting personnel, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth and performance excellence. Promote a collaborative and positive atmosphere within the accounting team.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to assist in strategic decision-making, identify improvement areas, and enhance financial performance. Interpret financial data and convey insights to senior management.
  • Audit Coordination: Facilitate external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and addressing auditor inquiries. Ensure audit readiness and assist in resolving audit findings.
  • Process Enhancement: Continuously evaluate and refine accounting processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness. Identify opportunities for automation and the implementation of accounting software solutions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between finance/accounting and other departments, providing financial information and analysis to support cross-functional initiatives. Communicate financial results and insights to senior management and other stakeholders.


The Accounting and Reporting Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial reporting processes. This position offers the chance to lead a dynamic team and contribute to the financial success of the organization.


Qualifications


Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 6+ years of accounting experience, including 2-3 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
