This role involves performing tasks related to storage, distribution, packaging, and labeling of drugs, as well as completing associated record keeping and charging activities. You will work under the supervision of a pharmacist and participate in performance improvement activities within Pharmacy and with outside departments to identify and rectify problems.
Responsibilities
Prepare medications and supply patients with correctly filled medication orders
Screen prescriptions and perform tasks involved with storage, distribution, packaging, and labeling of drugs
Complete associated record keeping and charging activities
Work under the supervision of a pharmacist
Participate in performance improvement activities within Pharmacy and with outside departments
Requirements
Preferred High School Diploma
2-4 years Pharmacy experience Preferred
2-4 years Hospital pharmacy experience Preferred
PTCB - Certified Pharmacy Tech
PTSR - Pharmacy Tech State Registration
