Job Summary
The Good Samaritan Society seeks a compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse to provide care in various locations within a 150-mile radius from home. This role allows RNs to offer essential nursing services, ensuring high-quality service to seniors in a Christian environment. The ideal candidate must possess an unencumbered RN license and demonstrate clinical competencies.

About the Position
This local travel opportunity provides competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement. As a Traveling Healthcare Professional, you will work at multiple GSS facilities, caring for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Your responsibilities will include resident assessment, education, and other nursing interventions.

Responsibilities
* Coordinate care and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel* Provide adequate assistance and support to delegates* Function within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules* Assist with resident care and service concerns* Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care

Qualifications
* Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred* Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred* Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or possesses multistate licensure* Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications* Demonstrates clinical competencies and adapts to new situations
