Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking a skilled Visual Inspector II to join our team. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for performing visual and non-destructive examinations of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment in accordance with API standards and ASME codes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting visual and non-destructive examinations of pressure retaining equipment to identify potential defects and anomalies.
  • Submitting technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition to clients.
  • Providing clients with technical recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement, and/or alteration of plant equipment.
  • Providing technical input to clients on welding and metallurgical issues.
  • Providing technical guidance on non-destructive examination techniques and procedures.
  • Fully complying with all Acuren and client safe work practices and actively participating in site safety initiatives.

Requirements for this role include:

  • Certification of American Petroleum Institute Standards 510/570, 653 is a plus.
  • 5-10 years of experience or 2+ years of on-site experience.
  • Additional API 653 or CWI certification is a plus.
  • In-depth working knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards.
  • Experience working in direct support of petrochemical facility engineers.
