Job Summary

Loomis is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Driver Guard to join our team. As an Armed Driver Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and secure transportation of cash, coin, and valuables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive armored vehicles on designated routes, servicing customer locations and ensuring the secure transportation of cash and valuables.
  • Service ATMs and Smart Safes, delivering customer change orders and picking up deposits.
  • Load and unload vehicle cargo, including multiple bags and boxes of coins.
  • Count and record cargo items, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • At least a 3-year driving record.
  • Ability to obtain a Medical Examiners Certificate via US Department of Transportation approved medical examiners.
  • A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms requirements.
Working Conditions
  • Full-time schedule, potentially consisting of an average 40 to 50 hours/week, with a minimum of 5 days during a 6-day period.
  • Approximately 90-95 percent of work performed in air-conditioned vehicles within individual compartments.
