Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Leader to join our team at Oak Ridge Manor. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents and leading a team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Direct: Give direction to Nurse Aides for appropriate care of residents, ensuring a high level of quality and safety.
  • Medication Administration: Properly administer resident medication, adhering to company policies and federal guidelines.
  • Care Planning: Implement resident care plans in compliance with Company and federal guidelines and physician's orders.
  • Treatment Administration: Perform treatments, accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders, and timely and accurate documentation of residents' charts.
  • Staff Management: Participate in shift reports, implement established nursing policy and procedures, and educate support staff regarding care needs of residents.
  • Environment Safety: Maintain a safe working environment, complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
  • Staffing Support: Respond to the need for staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff.
Requirements
  • Credentials: Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in good standing.
  • Skills: Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills, good communication skills, and ability to organize work flow, respond to emergencies, and note detail.
