As a Specialty Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in executing commercial activities, establishing strong relationships with customers, and driving sales growth.
About This Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to execute commercial activities for assigned geographies, establish relationships with healthcare professionals, and ensure the successful sale of our products. This field-based role requires gaining access to customers in clinics or hospitals while maximizing digital engagement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive territory business plan to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual goals.
- Promote our products within approved labeling, ensuring compliance with industry-specific and corporate guidelines.
- Build strong customer relationships by understanding their needs and preferences.
- Serve as a resource and consultant for customers and staff on payer policies and processes.
- Maximize marketing resources to maintain and develop customer relationships, growing their confidence to prescribe Axsome medications for appropriate patients.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 5 years of field customer experience and/or account management, with at least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Proven track record of delivering outstanding results, with experience strategizing within cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment.
