Position Summary: As a Field Sales Consultant, you will be tasked with driving profitable sales growth by developing, nurturing, and advancing client accounts through consistent engagement with dental practices within your designated territory.
Patterson Dental seeks business-oriented individuals who are focused on organizational success, aspire to advance their careers, and aim to maximize their earning potential.
As a leading entity in the dental and animal health sectors, Patterson Companies and our dedicated teams forge connections for healthier communities by establishing robust partnerships and making a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients and their customers.
- Fostering a "practice partner" mentality with Doctors and staff by assessing business needs, advocating for equipment and technology solutions, coordinating product demonstrations, and staying abreast of industry developments.
- Possessing comprehensive knowledge of Patterson products and services, competitive landscape, and industry insights.
- Maintaining precise records for prospects, customer orders, sales transactions, and financial activities.
- Executing additional duties related to the Field Sales Consultant role.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 3 to 5 years of business-to-business outside sales experience preferred.
- Strong initiative, exceptional customer service, planning, and organizational skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills with presentation and negotiation capabilities.
- Previous success in achieving and exceeding sales targets is advantageous.
- General computer proficiency including MS Office knowledge is required.
- Valid driver's license.
- Preferably 3+ years of experience in the dental industry.
