A skilled Rebar Specialist is required to work under the direction of the Superintendent/Foreman at G R Birdwell Construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for hoisting and placing all required reinforcing materials, including rebar, wire mesh, and post-tensioning systems.
Responsibilities:- Installs rebar in wall footings, grade beams, column footings, caps, and footing steps.
- Installs rebar templates, embeds, and anchor bolts.
- Offloads and packs rebar to appropriate locations.
- Installs all necessary accessories to support rebar in its correct position.
- Must be willing to work in all kinds of weather and working conditions.
- Must be willing to assume physical risks associated with working outdoors.
- Must be able to exert physical effort, handling objects up to 50 pounds.
- Must pass a hair follicle drug screen and background check.
Estimated Salary:$55,000 - $65,000 per annum
