Job Summary
Loma Linda University Medical Center seeks a skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. As an OT Assistant, you will work closely with our occupational therapists to provide high-quality care to patients. This is a full-time, day shift position.

Responsibilities
The Occupational Therapy Assistant performs services planned, delegated, and supervised by the Occupational Therapist. You will assist patients in preventing disability and promoting maximal patient and caregiver participation in their recovery program. Your duties will include providing care according to Occupational Therapy Department policies and procedures, applying treatment techniques in accordance with discipline-specific designated practice acts, and performing other duties as needed.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have an Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from a school accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) and pass the National Occupational Therapy Exam approved by the Occupational Therapy Examining Committee of the State Board of Medical Quality Assurance. A minimum of one year of recent experience in an acute care or rehabilitation facility is preferred. Current License from the Occupational Therapy Board of California and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required. Additionally, you should be fluent in written and verbal English, with good communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally and appropriately with others.

Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $ 55,000 - 65,000. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans, as well as paid time off and holidays.
