About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Permanent Assurance Senior Manager to join our esteemed Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a passion for excellence, capable of managing and leading our assurance team towards maximum productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the assurance team, ensuring high quality and timely delivery of assurance services.
  • Lead and motivate diverse teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Handle engagement scheduling and budgeting, with a focus on optimizing profitability and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, effectively interacting with all stakeholders.
  • Resolve complex accounting issues, demonstrating a strong understanding of GAAP and GAAS.
  • Utilize various assurance applications and research tools to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of assurance processes.
  • Monitor billings and collections, ensuring engagement profitability.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for process enhancement.
  • Play a key role in client development, leveraging relationship-building skills to expand our client base and strengthen existing client relationships.
Requirements
  • Minimum of eight years of experience in public accounting, preferably in a Big 4 or National accounting firm.
  • Prior significant supervisory experience, demonstrating excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Extensive experience in auditing, with a proven track record of successfully leading and motivating diverse teams.
  • Exceptional written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships and interact effectively with stakeholders.
  • Experience with various assurance applications and research tools.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and GAAS.
  • Proven ability to resolve complex accounting issues.
  • Strong people development and delegation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage engagement scheduling and budgeting.
  • Proven track record in client development and relationship building.
  • Commitment to ensuring engagement profitability, including billings and collections.
