We are seeking a Food Service Associate to join our team at Adventist Health. As a Food Service Associate, you will be responsible for operating the restaurant point of sale system, stocking restaurant supplies, ensuring proper setup, cleaning and stocking food inventories, maintaining cleanliness of public areas, and delivering exceptional customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Operate the restaurant point of sale system as the cashier and stock restaurant supplies as needed.
  • Ensure proper setup, cleaning, and stocking of food inventories.
  • Maintain cleanliness of public areas and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Perform a variety of simple and routine tasks related to the preparation and serving of food, including cleaning kitchen areas and cooking utensils.
  • Operate cash register and stock restaurant supplies when needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in work area and promptly report needed maintenance or repair of equipment.
  • Maintain the cleaning and temperature log.
  • Clean the kitchen areas and cooking utensils.
  • Operate dish washing, peeling, and other mechanical equipment.
  • Sets up and serves patient trays.
  • Carries dishes and foods between kitchen and serving lines.
  • Transports and stores supplies.
  • Washes and cuts vegetables and fruits.

**Requirements**

  • High School Education/GED or equivalent.
  • Associate's / Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience.
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent.
