Speech Therapist PRN

As a Speech Therapist PRN at Baptist Health, you will diagnose and treat communication and swallowing disorders in a comprehensive approach to patient care. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping patients overcome neurological disorders, deficits due to injury or surgery, developmental or acquired speech, language and swallowing disorders, hearing impairment, voice or fluency disorders, impaired cognition, and sensorimotor deficits.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling, evaluating, and treating patients as assigned. They will develop outcome-oriented plans of care, including patient and family teaching as appropriate. The Speech Therapist will provide treatment based on the plan of care, revising as necessary, and accurately maintain all patient documentation, including computerized documentation, and complete appropriate charging for evaluation, treatment, and teaching.
Requirements:
A License in SLP from the State of Kentucky is required. The ideal candidate will have CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) or CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from the American Speech Hearing Association. Experience in acute, rehab, and outpatient settings is desired. Basic Life Support (CPR) certification is also required.
