As a Plasma Center Medical Screener, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of our plasma collection process.
Key Responsibilities- Screen donors for eligibility and collect medical history records
- Take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results
- Prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate donor compensation and ensure a clean and professional work environment
- Work closely with your management team to identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
- Experience working in food service, retail, hospital, lab, or a regulated environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Desire to work in a fast-paced workplace
We offer a competitive starting hourly wage of $16.00, and eligibility for short-term incentives, medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits.
U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
