Job Summary:

Crown Equipment Corporation is a leading innovator in world-class forklift and material handling equipment and technology. As one of the world's largest lift truck manufacturers, we are committed to providing the customer with the safest, most efficient and ergonomic lift truck possible to lower their total cost of ownership.

This position is based out of our Burlington, VT branch location and will provide coverage to surrounding areas. We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing Crown and all other makes of lift trucks. Additionally, the technician will perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks, maintain a service van and its inventory, and process paperwork after completion of each job.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks

• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks

• Process paperwork after completion of each job

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics

• Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills

• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks
