  • Deliver high-quality patient care to a geriatric population through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Direct and guide patient teaching, activities of ancillary personnel, and maintain standards of professional nursing.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement effective patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and preferences.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on health-related topics and disease management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to confidentiality and data protection policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in patient care.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse, with a preference for Emergency Department experience.
  • Critical care background is an asset.
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse.
  • ACLS/BLS certification is required, with TNCC preferred.

Certifications and Licenses:

  • Basic Life Support certification.
