Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Manager to join our team at Macpower Digital Assets Edge; MDA Edge. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of the tax function, including coordination and review of federal and state income tax compliance, preparation of various transaction tax returns, and maintenance of tax-related internal controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with coordination and review of federal and state income tax compliance, including collecting and providing data for 3rd party tax preparers.
  • Prepare various transaction tax returns for monthly, quarterly, and annual filings.
  • Maintain tax-related internal controls, including assisting with updating internal controls as needed.
  • Research, interpret, and follow state, local, and federal tax laws and regulations.
  • Assist with the preparation of responses to tax authorities and provide support with handling tax audits.
  • Maintain fixed assets in fixed asset software, including preparation of tax depreciation.
  • Maintain tax calendar.
  • Lead current developments and changes to tax laws related to our structure.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • Must know debits and credits.
  • CPA license.
  • Master's in Taxation preferred.
  • 6+ years of tax experience preferably in a combination of Public and industry.
  • Experience completing corporate and/or partnership tax returns.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
  • JDE a plus.
