Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sprinkler Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and repair of sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to service calls from our Service Resource Center, including diagnosing equipment/system malfunctions and performing repairs.
  • Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills, communicating effectively with district staff and customers to ensure complete satisfaction.
  • Electronically complete Service Acknowledgements and obtain customer signatures.
  • Participate in a scheduled On-call rotation and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Able to work in unusual positions, such as climbing ladders and scaffolding.
  • Ability to adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NICET Level II certification.
  • 5 years of documented experience in the Fire Sprinkler/Suppression industry.
