Position Overview:

This role is centered around delivering outstanding customer service at community Recreation Centers. The suitable candidate should be available for evening shifts and weekends, with occasional responsibilities for overseeing the facility during off-hours. Key tasks include welcoming and assisting visitors, managing phone inquiries, processing registrations and transactions, and upholding facility regulations. This position requires collaboration within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and assist all guests in a courteous and composed manner
  • Clarify membership advantages and facilitate the membership process
  • Handle incoming calls and direct them to the relevant personnel
  • Accurately manage registrations, sales, and refunds
  • Implement center policies while fostering a welcoming atmosphere
  • Oversee activities to ensure safety
  • Conduct light cleaning duties as necessary
  • Manage multiple tasks while adapting to interruptions
  • Stay informed about website content and relay updates
  • Carry out additional administrative duties as needed
Essential Qualifications:

Knowledge: Familiarity with basic office procedures, telephone etiquette, and customer service principles. Certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED are mandatory.

Skills: Ability to build effective relationships, communicate clearly, operate office machinery, lift weights, and perform physical activities.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Prior experience in cash handling or customer service roles

Compensation:

$23.20 per hour
