Job Summary

This role involves providing full-time direct clinical counseling services at a ComPsych office location, focusing on in-person and telehealth counseling, as well as additional clinical and counseling-related services as needed.

As an EAP Staff Counselor, you will work with diverse clients presenting with various concerns, including depression, anxiety, stress, grief, relationship issues, and more.

You will join a team of clinicians who share a passion for delivering exceptional service and fostering a supportive culture.


Primary Responsibilities
  1. Provide goal-oriented in-person and telehealth EAP counseling services using brief, solution-focused interventions.
  2. Offer culturally competent care to diverse clients, including those from various age groups, gender identities, sexual orientations, racial and ethnic backgrounds, and abilities.
  3. Conduct risk assessments, safety planning, and crisis stabilization when necessary.
  4. Deliver high-quality counseling services, promoting positive outcomes and client satisfaction.
  5. Manage a full caseload of adult clients, primarily providing individual therapy, with occasional couples therapy sessions.
  6. Independently schedule follow-up appointments and communicate with clients between sessions as needed.
  7. Stay up-to-date with professional knowledge by reviewing trends in effective treatment modalities, evidence-based interventions, and clinical expertise development.
  8. Perform other clinical duties as assigned by the company.
