Job Description

As a Store Manager at DELTA GALIL USA INC, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing store team to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury retail, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive sales growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the overall store success by ensuring sales goals are met while achieving individual sales goals
  • Recruit, hire, and coach top talent to meet business needs and retain a high-performing team
  • Promote a store culture of consistent coaching and delivering feedback to develop and maintain a high-performing team
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales by styling and fitting each customer based on their needs
  • Build business and client relationships through in-store events and repetitive client outreach
  • Oversee the annual performance review process, evaluate team members, and ensure ongoing feedback regarding their performance
  • Partner with Area Manager and People Operations Specialist to facilitate, discipline, and terminate employees when necessary while maintaining the Open Door Policy
  • Communicate with the Area Manager regarding employee relations, employee skill developments, and store operational needs
  • Manage store scheduling within established guidelines to ensure proper coverage based on business needs
  • Support and execute directives from Visual Merchandising, Operations, and Marketing to ensure information is properly communicated to the store team and deliverables are completed within specified deadlines
  • Represent the brand and ensure team members embody the brand in all interactions with customers and peers
  • Ensure Loss Prevention policies and procedures are followed and assist with financial/sales audits and inventories to protect the store from internal and external shortage

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of related professional sales experience in specialty or luxury retail and at least 2+ years of management experience
  • Strong leadership ability
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Career-driven, strong work ethic, and high performance standards
  • High level of initiative/self-starter
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently operate a cash register while following cash handling procedures

Additional Requirements:

  • Repetitive hand motion while operating a cash register or computer
  • Regularly interacts with the public in an often crowded and noisy interactive store environment
  • Standing required for the entire work shift
  • Operate office equipment (i.e., computers, phone, fax, scanner, and copier)
  • Must work weekend and night shifts
  • Climb ladders as needed
  • Bend, lift, open, and move product up to 50 pounds as needed
  • Occasional travel, often with little advance notice, may be required (including air and overnight travel)
