Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Tradition Hospital in Port St. Lucie. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of radiology exams and procedures on patients of all ages. This includes general radiology, portable, and fluoroscopic procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of human anatomy and be able to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities
  • Perform radiology exams and procedures on patients of all ages
  • Assist with scheduling patient procedures
  • Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to ensure comfort and understanding
  • Document and notify management of any malfunctions of equipment
  • Collaborate with department leadership to develop and implement methods to achieve established goals and objectives
  • Provide copies of imaging studies in a timely manner
  • Perform routine imaging procedures according to policy/protocol manual and written orders
  • Perform emergent procedures according to policy/protocol manual and written orders
  • Perform invasive procedures according to policy/protocol manual and Radiologist's supervision
  • Perform all special procedures according to policy/protocol manual
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
  • American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) registered
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Holds a Florida License as a General Radiographer (RAD)
Work Environment

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will work in a fast-paced imaging department, collaborating with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing multiple assignments and responding to numerous requests.
