Janitorial and Sanitation Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and flexible individual to join our team as a Janitorial and Sanitation Specialist. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our offices, bathrooms, break rooms, floors, schools, dining areas, public areas, and other facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning and sanitation of all areas of the job as directed by the supervisor.
  • Complete specific non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders.
  • Remove garbage and trash as specified by the job order.
  • Clean and sanitize all high-touch areas as specified by job order.
  • Ensure the job site is kept and fully cleaned as specified by the job order.

Qualifications:

  • Education - High School Diploma or GED preferred but NOT required.
  • Experience - No Experience Needed.
  • Specific Skills - Willingness to learn and develop over time.
  • Physical Abilities - Ability to spend 8 hours on feet. Ability to lift 25 pounds.
