- Identify significant opportunities within the selected areas of technology.
- Foster relationships with current clients, customers, and contractors while cultivating new business prospects.
- Contribute to go/no-go decisions for specific pursuits in the relevant areas of technology.
- Lead proposal initiatives and requests for qualifications to secure consulting assignments, ensuring adherence to targeted budgets and financial performance standards.
- Engage in technical societies related to the areas of expertise through membership, development of industry standards, and publication and presentation of technical papers.
- Conduct training sessions to disseminate technical knowledge and expertise.
- Provide mentorship to staff members.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Adhere to all policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, aligned with the relevant areas of expertise, accompanied by 7 years of applicable experience; or
- Master's degree in engineering, aligned with the relevant areas of expertise, with 6 years of applicable experience; or
- PhD in Engineering, aligned with the relevant areas of expertise, with 4 years of applicable experience.
- Recognized as a technical resource for a process, equipment, or technology, both internally and externally.
- Established network of external colleagues and vendors within the relevant areas of expertise.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cutting-edge technology applicable to the relevant areas of expertise.
- Proficient computer skills utilizing industry-relevant software.
- Exceptional facilitation, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to present complex information effectively to all levels of employees, management, and clients.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking abilities.
- Capable of methodical and analytical work in a quantitative problem-solving environment.
- Adept at independently resolving challenging problems requiring adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
- Proven ability to build relationships with existing clients and develop business opportunities with new and existing clients.
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with contractors, co-workers, and other professionals.
- Ability to positively influence, lead, and manage change.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License is required.
