Job Title: NESC Inspector

Mountain Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled NESC Inspector to join our team in the Hillsboro / McMinnville, OR area.

Job Duties
  • Ensure that all client underground and aerial plant facilities meet current NESC standards through auditing all NESC inspections and corrections work performed by contractors.
  • Manage imminent danger Priority A condition violations, including performing preliminary inspections, identifying corrections, issuing corrections to approved contractors/engineers/arborists, auditing correction work or rework, and reporting completed corrections.
  • Manage foreign-owned Pole Transfers (PT's), including performing preliminary inspections, identifying if poles are ready for transfer, referring poles not ready for transfer to engineering or other utilities, issuing pole transfers to approved contractors, auditing completed transfers, and reporting completed transfers.
Qualifications
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Computer literacy, multi-tasking, problem-solving, strong verbal communications.
  • Experience working in a technical environment with detailed complex methods and procedures.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and conscientious of work.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Ability to work with little supervision.
