Audit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our team at Withum. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for leading audit engagements, supervising staff, and building strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring high-quality results and excellent client service.
- Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with managers and partners to resolve client issues and provide recommendations on legal, regulatory, and accounting matters.
- Review and analyze financial data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Manage multiple engagements concurrently, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Develop and track engagement budgets, identifying areas for cost savings and process improvements.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- CPA certification required.
- At least 5 years of public accounting experience, with a proven track record of leading multiple engagements and supervising staff.
- Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including familiarity with US GAAP and SEC regulations.
- Exceptional client service and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
