Job Title: Physical Therapy Aide

At Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy, we are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physical therapists in delivering high-quality services.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physical therapists in preparing patients for therapy sessions, including setting up equipment and supplies.
  • Help patients with exercises and activities, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the treatment process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in patient education, providing information on proper use of equipment and exercise routines.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology, and therapy equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Physical stamina to perform duties, including lifting and moving patients as needed.
