Job Overview

JAG Physical Therapy is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries and illnesses, and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their strengths and weaknesses, and develop personalized treatment plans to address their needs.
  • Implement and execute treatment plans, using a variety of techniques and modalities, including therapeutic exercises, joint mobilization, and modalities.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their support systems, to empower them to take an active role in their recovery.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes, using electronic medical records (EMRs) to track and analyze data.
  • Oversee support staff, including physical therapist assistants (PTAs), athletic trainers (ATCs), and physical therapy aides.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy, or Doctorate degree preferred.
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Completed state-regulated continuing education requirements.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
