About the JobWe're seeking a skilled Certified Patient Care Assistant to join our team. As a CPCA, you'll play a vital role in providing routine patient care, promoting patient comfort, and contributing to the overall patient plan of care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including basic hygiene needs and nutritional intake.
- Collect patient specimens and data, including vital signs and other delegated measurements.
- Recognize and report abnormalities or changes in patient health status and responses to treatment.
- Perform procedures and use equipment as delegated by a licensed professional.
- Provide receptionist/clerical duties to support operating efficiency and effective communication.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent working knowledge.
- Current BLS certification and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure in your state of practice.
- 1 year of medical clerical experience, preferably in a hospital or physician office setting.
- Excellent organizational skills, human relations, and communication skills.
