Crusher Plant Operator/ Groundsperson Position at CRH

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a skilled Crusher Plant Operator/ Groundsperson to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for controlling production and load out of materials produced in plants.
Key Responsibilities- Production Control: Read and interpret work schedules to determine the sequence of operations, ensuring efficient production and timely delivery of materials.
- Equipment Operation: Operate plant equipment according to production schedules, using appropriate materials and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Quality Control: Monitor material operations to ensure the quality of the mix, adhering to company standards and regulations.
- Maintenance and Service: Perform basic maintenance and service on plant equipment as required, referring major problems to the supervisor.
- Additional Responsibilities: Clean the control house and yard facility daily, enter production information into computer systems, and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, with two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos, as well as write correspondences and memos. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Physical Requirements: The employee is frequently required to sit, climb, and use hands to signal and handle equipment. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move anywhere up to 50-75 lbs.
