Quality Control Manager

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to serve as the SNAP Quality Control Section Supervisor within the Office of the Inspector General (OIG), Program Compliance Section.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in performing federally mandated Quality Control (QC) reviews of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and other QC measures as mandated by the federal government.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to develop and implement program policy, establish unit goals, objectives, priorities, and monitor performance.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for hiring, training, supervising, evaluating, and disciplining a staff of eleven.

Qualifications for this Career Opportunity
- Ability to interpret Federal and State codes and policies.
- Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to apply problem-solving, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and program policy analysis techniques to a broad range of complex issues and situations and develop action plans.
- Meet minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, Public Administration, Human Services, Social Sciences. Five or more years of job-related experience in determinations, review of determinations or investigations of eligibility of Public Assistance programs, management, accounting and financial management, personnel management, or legal field. Two years of supervisory experience. Other combinations of directly related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
