Job Description:

Become an integral part of Matric's Engineering team by delivering cutting-edge software solutions in the world's most revolutionary electronics markets.

This role involves working closely with customers and fellow engineers to analyze information, design, develop, install, test, and debug software solutions in custom electronics assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software solutions for electronic products, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Evaluate analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions to determine operational feasibility.
  • Collaborate with users to understand information needs, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes to develop effective software solutions.
  • Investigate problem areas and implement corrective actions to ensure optimal system performance.
  • FOLLOW THE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT LIFECYCLE TO DELIVER HIGH-QUALITY SOLUTIONS.
  • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
  • Determine and design system specifications, standards, and programming to prepare and install solutions.
  • Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
  • Obtain and license software by obtaining required information from vendors, recommending purchases, and testing and approving products.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect operations by keeping sensitive information secure.
  • Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.

**Qualifications and Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, with expertise in embedded software or systems development.
  • Proficiency in programming languages C, C++, Python, and Java, with experience in ARM, Power PC, MIPS embedded CPU, DSP, video, audio processing, Linux, and Windows platforms.
  • Knowledge of source control systems such as GIT and HG, wireless stacks like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, communication protocols including I2C, SPI, SDIO, CAN, RS-232, RS-485, and 4-20mA.
  • Familiarity with building operating systems, microcontroller integration, ADC, timers, and interrupts.
  • Experience with IC interface protocols, battery optimization, graphics implementation/Qt, oscilloscope, and logic analyzers.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, hardware integrate, and test software solutions.
