MEP Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Superintendent to lead our Mechanical and Electrical Systems project team at Turner Construction. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, managing subcontractors, and maintaining the highest level of quality and safety standards.

• Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors and Turner trade labor to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
• Develop and implement recovery strategies to maintain project schedule and budget.
• Supervise and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and interns, providing input on performance appraisals.
• Ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements at all times.
• Communicate with owners and architects/engineers to resolve field issues and investigate root causes.
• Manage the billing process, including work in place, payrolls, material invoices, and subcontractor payment applications.
• Coordinate and direct the activities of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure conformance with plans, specifications, local and national codes.

• Bachelor's degree or at least four years of formal engineering or architectural experience and a minimum of six years of mechanical/electrical/plumbing construction experience.
• Knowledge of building construction, means and methods, scheduling, and cost control procedures.
• Specific knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Systems, including building information modeling and its use in coordination of project systems.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities, proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

This role requires frequent on-site work at construction sites, where you will be exposed to various environmental conditions, including moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes, and outside weather conditions.
