MEP Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Superintendent to lead our Mechanical and Electrical Systems project team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, managing subcontractors, and maintaining the highest level of quality and safety standards.

• Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors and Turner trade labor to ensure timely and quality completion of Mechanical and Electrical systems.
• Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and quality control plans to meet project requirements.
• Supervise and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and interns to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
• Ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements at all times.
• Communicate effectively with owners, architects, and engineers to resolve field issues and ensure project success.
• Manage the billing process, including work in place, payrolls, material invoices, and subcontractor payment applications.
• Coordinate and direct the activities of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure conformance with plans, specifications, local and national codes.
• Review project changes and ensure that they are implemented in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Participate in preconstruction efforts, including constructability, logistics, and scheduling.

• Bachelor's degree or at least four years of formal engineering or architectural experience and a minimum of six years of mechanical/electrical/plumbing construction experience.
• Knowledge of building construction, means and methods, scheduling, and cost control procedures.
• Specific knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Systems, including building information modeling and its use in coordination of project systems.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities, proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

The performance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction.

The employee will regularly work on-site at the construction work site, where they will be exposed to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock.
