Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team at Surgery Partners. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support in our same-day surgery setting.

About the Role

As a Medical Care Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting in the provision of nursing care to patients. You will work closely with our medical staff to ensure that patients receive high-quality care, from admission to discharge. Your expertise will be essential in monitoring and controlling the use of supplies, as well as maintaining accurate records and reporting any symptoms or abnormalities to the appropriate personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the provision of nursing care to patients in a same-day surgery setting
  • Monitor and control the use of supplies
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Communicate effectively with medical staff and other departments
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in nursing
  • A current Registered Nurse License
  • Current certifications in American Heart Association BLS and ACLS
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to meet the demands of the role

Salary Range

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
