Title: Leasing Consultant

Reports to: Property Manager

SUMMARY:

The Leasing Consultant plays a vital role in driving sales and marketing efforts, providing exceptional customer service, and managing lease administration tasks for potential tenants and current residents.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

1. Conduct property tours for prospective tenants; articulate pricing and lease conditions; process rental applications; prepare lease documentation; facilitate move-in procedures.

2. Collaborate individually and as part of a team to deliver outstanding customer service to potential tenants, current residents, and internal stakeholders.

3. Establish and meet sales objectives on a monthly and quarterly basis while maintaining target closing ratios.

4. Create and publish advertisements, update online listings, manage social media accounts, participate in networking events, and follow up on leads.

5. Assist current residents with maintenance requests and customer service inquiries.

6. Support lease administration tasks, including managing lease expirations, renewals, annual inspections, and move-out processes.

7. Process rental payments efficiently.

8. Assist in executing resident communications as necessary.

9. Organize resident activities and events.

10. Generate and update monthly market surveys to remain informed about market trends and competitor pricing.

11. Adhere to company policies and procedures consistently, including the dress code as outlined in the employee handbook.

12. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure optimal curb appeal.

13. Complete required training sessions as assigned.

14. Attend mandatory meetings as requested.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent experience. Effective communication skills with colleagues, vendors, and the public. Proficient in computer technology, including internet usage, Microsoft Office suite, and reporting tools. Strong customer service abilities; positive attitude; proactive mindset. Excellent organizational, communication, time management, and follow-through skills. Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English. Ability to follow detailed instructions. Must pass background checks and drug screening upon hire and throughout employment.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

Valid U.S. Driver's License required.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES:

None.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Office and community-based setting.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Property Leasing: None, except for meetings and training as directed.

Regional Leasing: As required within the assigned geographical area and for meetings and training as directed.
