Job Overview

Advanced Behavioral Therapy is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our team in the Pleasantville, NJ area.

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

We are looking for an individual who shares our passion for providing high-quality care to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will be responsible for implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your primary focus will be on providing direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with ASD, collecting and recording data on client progress, and collaborating with the BCBA and other team members to create a positive therapeutic environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a behavioral therapy setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation, as some positions may require travel to various locations.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
