Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team at First Children Services, a family-owned and operated organization providing ABA services to public and private schools in New Jersey.

About the Role

This district-based position will involve coordinating with instructional treatment teams, providing consultation within schools, and participating in family meetings and parent trainings. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing functional, individualized behavioral programs and conducting interactive therapeutic solutions to minimize maladaptive behaviors.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with all instructional treatment team members
  • Provide consultation within the schools in conjunction with administrators, child study team members, teachers, and other school personnel
  • Participate in family meetings and conduct parent trainings
  • Develop and implement functional, individualized behavioral programs
  • Conduct interactive therapeutic solutions to minimize maladaptive behaviors
  • Manage client data and provide direct training and supervision to clinical support team members
Requirements
  • Master's degree in psychology, special education, or related field
  • Active BCBA Certification
  • Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
  • At least 2 years of experience working with children on the Autism spectrum
  • Ability to conduct functional Behavioral Assessments and create programs and Behavior Intervention plans
  • Proficiency in completing skill assessments (ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, and AFLS)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
