In this role, you will work under general supervision to evaluate, maintain, and repair medical equipment for which you have received training. You will frequently communicate with the home office to receive assignments and discuss service challenges. For complex issues, you may collaborate with more experienced personnel to find solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment within designated timeframes in your assigned area.
- Promote service offerings within your territory and collaborate closely with the sales team to strengthen LivaNova's presence.
- Provide corrective maintenance on equipment in your assigned region.
- Ensure that quality standards are consistently met or surpassed in the delivery of services.
- Take responsibility for all company assets assigned to you, including tools, testing equipment, inventory, and documentation.
- Complete necessary paperwork, documentation, and administrative tasks in accordance with company policies.
- Develop a personal action plan for professional growth and training to enhance your skills and knowledge of the industry and products.
- Maintain financial efficiency within your assigned territory.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, other departments, and clients.
- Communicate precise technical findings to facilitate thorough analysis of issues, root causes, and solutions.
- Perform additional duties or projects as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Strong organizational and territory management skills are essential.
- Ability to manage oneself effectively.
- Consistent performance in using logical methods to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a high degree of customer service aptitude.
- Focus on customer satisfaction and prompt problem resolution.
- Accountability for administrative tasks related to field service.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities related to equipment issues.
- Ability to stand for 90% of the time and sit/walk for 10%.
- Availability for on-call support 24/7.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform various physical tasks.
- Proficient in using a computer and performing repetitive tasks.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Capable of mathematical reasoning and memorization.
- Familiarity with spatial orientation and exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
- Willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Completion of 2 years of Technical College or equivalent education.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Field Service Representative or Hospital Technician.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The estimated annual base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $85,000, with additional bonus potential. Pay ranges may vary based on location.
