The LPN carries out technical nursing skills where a professional degree of evaluative judgment is not required, with guidance from a registered professional nurse. This position reports to the Clinical Director and works clinically with a professional RN Case Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out technical nursing skills under the guidance of a registered professional nurse.
  • Support the mission, vision, and values of Facility MaineHealth Care At Home.
  • Work clinically with a professional RN Case Manager.
  • Report to the Clinical Director.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a school accredited by the NLN to prepare practical (vocational) nurse.
  • State of Maine licensure as a Practical Nurse.
  • Current, valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers.
  • One year of experience in an acute care hospital or skilled nursing facility.
