Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, serve, and store food products in accordance with HACCP guidelines and hospital standards.
  • Operate dish machines, wash pots, and perform heavy cleaning duties while maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Transport equipment, food, supplies, and trash as directed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of our food service department.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Food Handlers Card - Oregon.
  • Minimum of one year previous work experience in retail food service, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Knowledge and understanding of proper food handling and sanitation procedures.

Working Conditions:

This role requires frequent exposure to skin or lung irritants, extreme temperatures, and the ability to lift objects weighing 80 lbs. or less. Job duties frequently require intense concentration and attention to detail.
