Position Overview:

The Strategic Intelligence Specialist is tasked with protecting physical assets and ensuring operational resilience against intricate risks. This role involves a systematic approach informed by extensive training and resources available through Pinkerton's vast network.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Exemplify Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Act as the main liaison for the client Global Security Operations Center (GSOC).
  3. Monitor open-source platforms and evaluate global events, assessing their implications for client assets and business operations.
  4. Evaluate risks posed to clients from violent incidents and terrorism threats.
  5. Track and manage all potential threats or risks to the client organization and its executives, escalating issues to relevant teams as necessary.
  6. Communicate key insights derived from analyzed data, focusing on executive protection, and provide written assessments, formal reports, and verbal briefings to the client.
  7. Conduct operational assessments related to supply chain events.
  8. Coordinate communications with cross-functional partners and activate safety protocols as needed.
  9. Prepare operational briefs for leadership upon request.
  10. Identify emerging incidents that may threaten the client's personnel, assets, or reputation.
  11. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree coupled with three to five years of experience in government or corporate intelligence, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to fulfill the essential functions of the role. Experience in protective intelligence or threat assessment is preferred. Pinkerton values diversity and encourages candidates from various backgrounds to apply.

Skills:
  • Proficiency in foreign languages is preferred.
  • Familiarity with OSINT tools and methodologies.
  • Understanding of BOLO systems and continuous threat tracking.
  • Foundational knowledge in structured intelligence analysis.
  • Experience in Geospatial Analysis (e.g., ArcGIS Pro, QGIS) is preferred.
  • Ability to assess and utilize various situational awareness tools to advise decision-makers effectively.
  • Strong analytical judgment and understanding of how geopolitical and international security issues affect multinational corporations.
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to write objectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to complete tasks independently within set deadlines.
  • Ability to produce clear and concise reports.
  • Effective teamwork skills.
  • Capacity to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and establish credibility quickly.
  • Self-sufficient with minimal supervision, even in challenging conditions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Power Platforms.
